Foundation
About us
The Richland County Recreation Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt, non-profit organization. Since its establishment in 2003, the Foundation has functioned as the charitable arm of the agency, raising funds to support programming, special services and facilities provided by the Richland County Recreation Commission. The Foundation also raises awareness of the benefits of exercise and a healthy lifestyle. The Foundation recognizes that the availability of neighborhood parks, recreation programs and community events is essential and invaluable to a thriving community.
Our Mission
To assist RCRC in its dedication to enriching lives and connecting communities through diverse recreational opportunities.
Why Partner With Us?
RCRF is a local organization that truly believes in our motto “Community First”. To us at RCRF, recreation is an opportunity to bring people together in a safe, clean and secure environment. With a county population that has skyrocketed to nearly 385,000 and an increase in obesity rates and chronic illnesses around the U.S., there is an even increased need to improve our current programs and extend our services to as many people possible. By supporting RCRC through a partnership with RCRF, individuals and businesses will be able to show the community that they are invested in its health and well-being.
