Richland County Recreation Foundation Seeking Applicants for Board of Directors
COLUMBIA, SC (January 31, 2020) – The Richland County Recreation Foundation is seeking applicants
for its Board of Directors. The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt, non-profit
organization that raises funds to support recreation programming, special services and facilities
in Richland County. The Foundation also raises awareness of the benefits of exercise and a
healthy lifestyle. All directors must be residents of Richland County or employed by a company or
organization that serves Richland County. Regular meetings of the Board are held quarterly with
other meetings called if necessary. All interested persons are encouraged to apply for
