RCRC to Cancel Afterschool Programs Due to Weather

The Richland County Recreation Commission uses state and local guidelines and procedures on how to handle extreme weather conditions to protect participants and staff. Inclement weather will affect programs and facilities differently based upon field/location, availability of shelter and the severity of weather. RCRC retains the right to cancel or curtail activities affected by extreme weather conditions. Due to incoming severe weather reported by the National Weather Service, Richland County Recreation Commission will cancel all after school programs for today, April 5. This decision was made in an abundance of caution to ensure the safety of our patrons and staff.
