We have several family-oriented Halloween events going on at the end of October. Each of our recreation centers will be hosting a Halloween event so find the park closest to you and enjoy a fun family-friendly environment on the year’s most “spookiest” day!
Truck or Treat
Get ready to Truck-or-Treat in style as you wander through a parade of Halloween decorated trucks, with treats and surprises for all ages. Bring the treat bags! Stop at our many themed trucks for candy & treats. All ages are welcome and costumes are encouraged!

Halloween Costume Covered Dish Luncheon
It’s Halloween and we’re having a bash; wear your best costume or a simple mask. Forget the tricks just bring a treat: your favorite covered dish.

Terror in the Park
Step into a world of thrills and chills at Terror in the Park! This spine-tingling haunted house is designed to captivate and frighten guests of all ages. As you wind your way through dark cooridors and eerie rooms, you’ll encounter a variety of hair-raising scares, creepy characters, and haunting surprises to keep your heart racing.

Halloween at the Center
The Trick-or-Treat Party extends an invitation for adults and children to let your imagination run wild. Come dressed as your favorite superhero or princess. The children will participate in a variety of games prizes for best costume. Light refreshment will be served.

Superhero Fun Fest
Come out all my highflyers, sword swingers, and spider web throwers for this fun event! Play, bounce, and show your best costume! Presented by Richland County Recreation Foundation.

Get ready to trunk-or-treat in style as you wander through a parade of spooky decorated Jeeps, laden with treats and surpris- es for all ages. Bring the treat bags! Stop at our many themed Jeeps for candy and treats. All ages are welcome and costumes are encouraged!

Polo’s Blackout Candy Pickup
The Polo Road Park “Blackout Candy Pickup” is a wonderful opportunity for kids in the Polo Road community to enjoy safe place to pick up candy before Halloween night under some black lights! Kids will also be able to enjoy great indoor activities and crafts! Light refreshments will be provided while supplies last.

Characters at the Park
Come out and meet some of your favorite characters as they drop by the park to visit. There is something so fun about seeing a character you know and love. All kids will get the chance to take a photo with each character and receive trick or treat goodies. We encourage participants to come dressed in their favorite costumes and also bring a trick or treat bag. Don’t miss out on this unforgettable evening.

Trick or Treat Drive Thru
Join RCRC as we present Trick or Treat Drive-Thru at Eastover Park. The event will be geared towards kids 3-12. Drive thru with your costumes on and receive spooky goodie bags! The event will be FREE and we will provide Halloween bags and candy while supplies last.
