Polo Road Park

Polo Road Park has a great array of amenities, including a gym, game room, fitness room, classrooms, and a kitchen. The park is also known for its many athletic fields that include lighted softball and baseball fields, six lighted soccer fields, and a football field. It is adjacent to Sesquicentennial State Park and hiking trails are accessible.  The park will get a new addition of tennis courts in the coming year.

Activities

Tap and Ballet

Learn the basics of tap and ballet. Ballet slippers and tap shoes are required. A dance recital will be presented in May. $40/month.

Fencing

Fencing has been around for many years and has been a staple at Polo Road Park.  This explosive sport combines mental and physical strength.  The Palmetto Fencing Club meets at Polo Road so if you’d like to check it out, come watch and learn.  We hope you pick up a new sport today!

Summer Adult Co-Ed Kickball League

Register by July 5th.

Come out and enjoy fun and fellowship with friends and family playing an all time classic game.  If you want to play but don’t have a team, call us and we’ll get you hooked up with one!  Games are officiated. Call Polo Road Park, 736-1657, to get your team registered!

Adult Softball League

Register by August 19.

We have lots of great softball leagues for adults.  This is a fun way to get your co-workers, church group or just a group of friends together.  Get a great workout while playing a fun game.  We offer league play every night of the week at different locations.  We need at least six team to get the league started.  If you do not have a team but want to play, Call Kendrick Roach and we’ll get you in contact with a team.  Register today!

Regular season is 8 weeks with a single elimination tournament at the end.

Shinkickers Soccer League

Welcome to our awesome introductory soccer league for boys and girls, ages 3-6.  Kids will have fun learning the basics of the game, learning to play with others and how to work as a team.  Volunteer coaches are always needed and appreciated!  Register your child today!
