Denny Terrace Community Center

In the heart of the Denny Terrace neighborhood, the Denny Terrace Community Center is used daily for lots of activities and programs. The center is home to some RCRC administrative offices, Special Programs (Afterschool and Summer Camp) and Adaptive Recreation Department.  It has several areas that can be rented, including a large meeting room with a full kitchen.  Families can play at the gym, workout on fitness equipment, play outside on the playground or see the wonders of nature on the walking/nature trail.

Bible Study Class

This educational class will take a journey through one of the most notable books of all time, The Bible.

Bingo

You’ll have fun with this Bingo club!  We have lots of fun playing Bingo and winning great prizes.  Join us today!

Walkers Club

Come out and take a few laps, rest, and enjoy meeting other people who love to walk just like you do.  It will make you feel so much better.

Camp Sunshine

Camp Sunshine is a summer day camp for individuals with special needs.  Camp is held Monday-Friday, 8:45 am-3:00 pm at the Denny Terrace Community Center.  This day camp features 2 3 week sessions, June 10-July 19.

Camp Sunshine has served the Midlands for 36 years by providing a summer camp experience for individuals with intellectual and physical special needs.  Each week is packed with a variety of fun activities that include swimming, bowling, arts and crafts, golf, music and drama, story time and recreational sports.

Lunch is provided but if there are special dietary needs, lunch will need to be supplied by families.  Free bus service is available (not door to door).  Designated pick-up areas will be determined.
