The Richland County Recreation Commission is one of the fastest growing agencies in Richland County. Along with growth in population, businesses, etc. the number of personnel within our county government has continued to grow. Education & Experience Requirements for Summer Camp Employment:
Directors and Assistant Directors –Must be at least 21 years of age and have an Associate’s Degree or a Bachelor’s Degree or a valid high school diploma or General Educational Development Certificate (GED), with three (3) years experience as a caregiver in a licensed/approved/registered childcare facility and a plan to complete the Certificate in Child Development/Early Childhood or a DSS ABC approved credential/certificate/diploma/degree within three years. You will be required to provide proof of education if hired.
Counselors – Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid high school diploma or General Educational Development Certificate (GED) and at least six (6) months experience as a caregiver in a licensed/approved child care facility.
