Admission: $10/person (registration is limited to 50 tickets)

Multi-generational swing dance featuring the 1930s and 1940s Big Band sound for RCRC seniors and AC Flora Jr. ROTC Cadets. Richard Durlach, Adjunct Dance Instructor at the University of South Carolina and his dance partner Breedlove will teach the history of The Big Apple Dance and it’s important historical link to Benedict College and Columbia, SC. Our guests will learn the basic steps and will be treated to a dance performance by Richard and Breedlove at The Big Apple, birthplace of the Big Apple Dance. The Junior ROTC Cadets, under the direction of Col. Gatson will be our guests and will serve as escorts and dance partners for the RCRC senior citizens.
